Gravsättningen är ett av de mest betydelsefulla stegen i avskedet. Det är stunden då kistan eller askan får sin sista viloplats – i jorden, i tex en minneslund, kist- eller urngrav eller på en plats som har särskild betydelse.
Hos Ave Begravning ser vi gravsättningen som mer än ett moment – det är en stund för närvaro, eftertanke och ett stilla farväl. Vi finns vid er sida och hjälper er att skapa en lösning som känns rätt, personlig och värdig.
Enligt begravningslagen ska gravsättning normalt ske inom en månad från dödsfallet (30 dagar). Vid kremering finns mer tid – då har ni upp till ett år på er att i lugn och ro ta beslut kring askans sista vila.
Gravsättningen kan ske med anhöriga och närvarande gäster, där ni tillsammans tar ett sista avsked vid graven. Den kan också ske anonymt, till exempel i en minneslund, där kyrkogårdsförvaltningen ombesörjer gravsättningen utan närvaro av anhöriga.

Olika sätt att gravsättas (Gravskick)
Vi guidar er varsamt genom de olika möjligheterna och hjälper er att förstå de olika alternativen och vad de innebär – så att valet blir tryggt och genomtänkt.
- Kistgravplats – en egen gravplats med möjlighet till gravsten. En personlig plats för minne och återbesök.
- Urngravplats – en gravplats för urnor, där flera kan vila tillsammans och där en gravsten kan sättas upp.
- Askgravlund – en gemensam viloplats utan individuell markering. En stillsam och skötselfri lösning.
- Askgravplats – en mindre, mer personlig grav med begränsad skötsel och möjlighet till namnangivelse.
- Minneslund – en anonym gravplats där askan gravsätts eller sprids utan en personlig gravplats. Anhöriga närvarar i regel inte vid gravsättningen.
- Naturspridning/spridning till sjöss – askan sprids på en önskad plats i naturen eller till sjöss efter att Länsstyrelsen lämnat godkännande.
- Urnkammare / kolumbarium – en särskild nisch i en urnvägg, där urnan placeras på ett värdigt och skyddat sätt.

Reservation: Utbud, regler och rutiner kan variera mellan olika kyrkogårdsförvaltningar och församlingar. Alla begravningsplatser erbjuder inte samtliga gravskick. Vi reserverar oss därför för lokala bestämmelser, tillgänglighet och eventuella begränsningar hos respektive kyrkogårdsförvaltning.
